TEACHING METHOD

A. the step of method in learning teaching

Base on book of strategy belajar mengajar arranged by Drs. Siaful Bahri DJamarah and DRs. Aswan Zain there are Three states of method in learning teaching. They are :

1.  as extrinsic motivation tool
2.  as strategy in teaching
3. the tool to reach a goal

1. Method as extrinsic motivation tool

Learning method that can increase the spirit of student to study that supported by outside stimulus. Using the exact method and variety method can be as extrinsic motivation tool in learning teaching activity in the school.

2. method as teaching strategy

As we as know the  understanding and intelligence of students are not same. We know about the grade of intelligence of student are different, there are low, middle and high intelligence. So, to unite the difference student the teacher should choose the exact method to get goal in learning teaching activity.

3. method as a tool to reach a goal

The goal in learning teaching activity  is a hope that will be achieved by student and teacher. On the other hand, method is one of tools that can support the success of the goal. So, between goal and method should run in some way. Base on this case we know that a goal without method then a goal will not run well. Finally, we need a goal and exact method to reach a hope from a target. 

B. choosing and deciding of method

As a teacher we need an exact method to used learning teaching activity but to choose and deciding of method the teacher should know about four point. They are:

-          value strategic of method

-          effectively in using method

-          the important of choosing the deciding of method, and

-          some factor that influence in choosing method

1. value strategic of method

A learning teaching activity is a process were the student get a knowledge or information that given by teacher. But if teacher do not use the exact method can give the bad motivation For student to study. It means learning teaching activity will not run well and teaching process will failure. These are the important of failure strategic of method.

2. the effectively in using method

The effectively using method should attention at because it is one of thing that can support the success of a target in learning teaching and support the success of method that we use if it is do not attention at the students will make the trouble. So, the class is not conducive, then  the motivation of student  will be low.

3. the important of choosing and deciding of method

One of thing that should have achieved in learning teaching activity is reach a goal in teaching. It is supported by decide and choosing the exact method in each teaching goal that will be achieved, if not, the teacher will get failure in teaching.

4. some factors that influence in choosing method

a. Student is potential human that must get education.

b. the goal is something that will be achieved in learning teaching activity

c. situation is the condition is given by teacher that suitable with student needs.

d. Facilities is tool or media to make easier student get the study in learning teaching.

e. teacher  is someone that important in learning teaching process. They must have good background and have good experience.
